We take great care in packaging our live lobsters, ensuring they are snug in a foam-insulated box with gel packs, seaweed, and damp paper to maintain their freshness during shipping. Our deliveries are sent overnight via FedEx air service across the USA, except for Alaska and Hawaii due to shipping restrictions.
Once your order arrives, remove the lobster meat from the box immediately. If you plan to use it within 2 days, thaw it in the fridge; otherwise, store it in the freezer. When ready to eat, transfer from the freezer to the fridge 24 hours before cooking for proper thawing.
You have the option to choose between fresh and frozen lobster meat when placing your order. Thaw frozen meat properly before start cooking. Placed an order for 3 live lobster and selected the wrong shipping date. Reached out to the phone number listed on the site with a text. The issue was quickly resolved and the lobsters arrived on time for my wife's birthday dinner. I couldn't be happier with the price, quality of lobsters and customer service. How long do I keep my lobster meat?
If you refrigerate fresh lobster meat, then it can stay good for 1-2 days. For longer storage, freezing them is ideal, as they can remain fresh for up to 5-6 months in the freezer. If you order frozen lobster meat then it can be store up-to 1 year.
You can keep fresh lobster meat in the fridge for 1-2 days or freeze them for longer. Just wrap them well in plastic wrap and put them in a sealed freezer bag. When you’re ready to cook them, thaw the frozen lobster meat in the fridge or under cold running water.
