How We Ship Swordfish?
We carefully pack our fresh swordfish ensuring they are snug in a foam-insulated box with gel packs, seaweed, and damp paper to maintain their freshness during shipping. Our deliveries are sent overnight via FedEx air service across the USA, except for Alaska and Hawaii due to shipping restrictions.
Handling & Thawing
Once your receive your order, carefully unpack them, pat them dry and if you are ready to cook then start. If you’re aiming to cook the swordfish within 2 days, it’s safe to refrigerate it. To prevent deterioration, prep is key. Unpack, rinse, and dry the swordfish. Place it on a cake rack over crushed ice in a pan, wrap, and refrigerate in the coldest drawer. However, if you won’t be cooking them for longer than that, it’s best to keep swordfish in the freezer for storage. To thaw frozen swordfish , you can place them in a bowl in the refrigerator overnight or soak them in cold water for a few hours, changing the water every 30 minutes until they are fully thawed.
